 Precision Micro-Perforating

Broken teeth on your perforation wheels will become a bad memory as the Micro-Perf/Cut & Crease Combo incorporates a double bevel blade that is simply made to last. The reason for this is because the tip of the blade penetrates the sheet and only a micro-millimetre into the surface of a nylon anvil below, avoiding the destructive metal versus metal set-up that is common with standard devices.

Fine, flat and almost invisible micro-perforations can be easily pressed into a cross range of stock using the 17, 25 or 52 teeth per inch blades (TPI) that are included as standard. Other blade profiles such as 72 TPI blades are available as optional extras.

Slitting with Strength

The problem of blunt cutting blades is eliminated as our system uses strong grade steel that lasts many times longer than the throw away slitters you may be used to. The specially profiled radius formed on the tip of the blade means that it self sharpens when working in unison with the angled cutting anvil during production, maintaining razor sharp cutting throughout millions of folded products.

 

Cylinder Quality Creasing....

Using a softer patented creasing solution that penetrates the material up to three times deeper, without splitting or damaging the stock. The forgiving and gentle rubber application manipulates and stretches even the most difficult print and stock combinations known to us, including oven baked web offset and toner based digital applications.

Incorporating 8 crease options that easily stop the cracking on the full range of materials that run through your folding machine from 85-350gsm, regardless of grain direction, solid ink coverage or whether it has been UV varnished or laminated.
